Eli Sport is the athletic development branch of Dynamic Fitness Inc. It was created by Olympic Gold Medalist, Dave MacEachern as a platform to mentor young aspiring athletes and offer them training opportunities that weren’t afforded to him while growing up on the Island. We believe in the concept of studio based training because a structured training environment is safe and also allows you to maximize your time training. Over the past 10 years, Eli Sport has been influential in the development of some of the Island’s most successful athletes.

That success was predicated upon the best trainers teaching the best techniques, to the most committed and dedicated athletes. If you are an athlete pursuing excellence within your sport, commitment to athletic physical enhancement is essential to your success. That commitment to excellence is what separates good athletes from average athletes. We believe that only through accumulating thousands of positive repetitions of the correct content with proper guidance is the surest way to deliver results. In other words, there are no shortcuts to success only good structure and hard work.

• 75 minute sessions

• 2x week = $32+gst/week

• 3x week = $48+gst/week

• 4x week = $64+gst/week

• 5x week = $80+gst/week

CHOOSING YOUR SCHEDULE

When considering an Eli Sport program, it is important to take the following steps of action...


(1) Review the current schedule,

(2) Determine your level of commitment,

(3) Choose a training frequency,

(4) Register in available training sessions.

All athletes are advised to choose their sessions with care, deliberation, and after consultation with an Eli Sport Trainer. While each athletes schedule is different, the purpose of keeping a schedule is the same for everyone. As you glimpse a successful athletes routine, you get a sense of the important role structure plays in athletic pursuits. Results will come only from organizing your energy and holding yourself accountable with some sort of routine.

 

SERVICES

SUPER KIDS (8 - 12 years)

Super Kids will teach young athletes the foundational components of athleticism through a fun, dynamic and safe training environment. Children between the ages of 8 and 12 are at a peak stage for nervous system development. This means that most of their body awareness, coordination, movement mechanics and balance will be developed by the age of 13 making it a critical time for young athletes to train. The program focuses on developing movement not muscle. Therefore there is no need to introduce weight training at this age. The focus is on balance, agility, quickness, core stability, posture, and reactivity. By joining our Super Kids program your child will learn the essentials of movement giving them the confidence and ability to move more freely. This is a great program for those looking to unlock their potential by developing functional mechanics, and efficient movement.

 

SPORT PREP (13 years and up)

Eli Sport is a unique conditioning system that builds and expands on the fundamentals learned in the Super Kids program. The skills acquired in the younger program will enhance your success in future programs. Athletes will be exposed to the introduction of light weight training, rotary strength techniques, and the development of speed and power principles. Athletes will acquire the fundamental skills and techniques necessary to significantly enhance future sport performance. This program is the ideal sport training tool for sports that require quick foot movements, flat out speed, and overall strength. Eli Sport also introduces the aspiring athlete to more advanced and dynamic forms of training. Athletes will receive instruction on proper sprint mechanics; plyometrics; lateral speed; weight training and basic Olympic lifting. Eli Sport provides the aspiring athlete with the tools and support system that is needed to take their training to the highest level.

 

HOT YOGA SPORT (13 years and up)

Hot Yoga Sport is a program designed by Eli Sport trainers to maximize athletic flexibility. High Performance sport requires athletes to maximize their range of motion in both the upper and lower regions of the body. Yoga Sport is instructed by Eli Sport certified staff and yoga instructors in our state of the art, Hot Yoga studio. This program is extremely beneficial to all athletes and will take hockey goaltenders to a whole new level of flexibility.

 

ELI SPORT ADULTS

Don't succumb to a method of drift and neglect when it comes to your fitness. Take the time to refine your philosophy for a better life. Take charge of your health and wellness and not only train like an athlete, but look like an athlete. 'Eli Sport Adults will bring out the athlete in you, helping you enjoy an active life pain-free. EAS will help you get functionally fit for the sports and everyday activities you enjoy, in a safe environment. Each session is 75 minutes in length and participants can choose to train 1 - 4 times per week. Whether you're a weekend warrior with a desire to maximize your athletic performance or just looking to get the most out of the sports and activities you enjoy, this program will help you "be your best you" everyday!
